![]() My issue is more on the voices used for Wymack and Andrew. ![]() ![]() When he's just narrating as Neil for his inner monologue (of whatever that's technically called), it's not great, but acceptable. His voice is too rough, too guttural, and overall just too.grating for what I would have imagined the Foxes to sound like. The narrator is Alexander Cendese and this isn't my first time listening to one of his audiobooks, but I don't think he works well here. I'm not a fan of the audiobook for The Foxhole Court. I've been waiting for the audiobook for what feels like FOREVER now because audiobooks make re-reads go so much faster and it saves up time when I'm trying to read e-books or physical books. ![]() This two-star rating is solely based on the narrator's performance and not for the story (which is a five-star read for me). This is my early LGBTQIAP+ book reads and I absolutely love the series, despite some of the issues. ![]()
